Therapy for Children & Adolescents – Minneapolis-Saint Paul
At Convex Therapy, we support children and teens through tailored therapy that nurtures emotional well-being and resilience. Our clinicians understand the unique challenges of childhood and adolescence and partner with families to help young people grow, build confidence, and thrive.
Helping Your Child Build Resilience
Child and teen therapy helps young people express thoughts and emotions more effectively while supporting caregivers in responding with clarity and care. This work reduces misunderstandings and strengthens communication across the family.
Therapy supports children and teens in developing emotional regulation and problem-solving skills while helping families respond to conflict in calmer, more constructive ways that promote trust and emotional safety.
By exploring a young person’s inner experience, therapy fosters greater empathy and insight within the family. Caregivers gain a clearer understanding of their child’s needs, strengths, and challenges, supporting more connected relationships.
Whether navigating school stress, behavior concerns, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm, therapy provides tailored support that helps young people build resilience while giving families tools to offer consistent and supportive care.
Through clear boundaries, healthy routines, and shared understanding, child and teen therapy supports a home environment that feels more balanced, connected, and supportive for everyone involved.
